Tamara R. Pringle, MDTamara R. Pringle, MD

Falls Church, Virginia native Dr. Pringle received her under- graduate degree in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 1995. She attended the Medical College of Virginia where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She received her medical degree in 2001 from MCV, where she completed her internship and residency in 2005. Dr. Pringle is a Fellow of the American College of OB-Gyn and is Board Certified by the American Board of OB-Gyn.

Dr. Pringle became an OB-Gyn because she enjoys caring for women at all stages of their lives. Her areas of interest include adolescent medicine, initial visits to the gynecologist and evaluation and management of abnormal pap smears.

She also enjoys assisting her patients with selecting their ideal form of contraception as well as performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for her patients having difficulty conceiving.

She is also proficient in the management of high risk pregnancies (especially younger and older mothers), and conservative options for treating heavy periods, including endometrial ablation and the intrauterine device. Dr Pringle also performs minimally invasive surgery including da Vinci robotic surgery.

Dr. Pringle and her husband, Dan, an attorney, have three young children. She enjoys playing tennis, running, skiing, traveling, and playing with her children. She is also always looking for a new restaurant to try.
