Howard O. Wiles, III, MD
A native of Georgetown, Kentucky, Dr. Wiles received his undergraduate training in zoology from Duke University and his medical degree from the University of Kentucky Medical School in 1981. He completed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Kentucky where he worked in private practice for five years.
In 1990, Dr. Wiles relocated to Virginia and joined the practice of Richmond OB-Gyn Associates. He is Board Certified and a member of the American College of OB-Gyn.
While Dr. Wiles enjoys obstetrics and office gynecology, he also specializes in pelvic organ prolapse, urogynecology, laparoscopic hysterectomy and bladder suspension. He is also a proctor for the new, state of the art, daVinci robotic surgery.
Dr. Wiles and his wife Leslie have two grown children as well as a pair of collies that work as therapy dogs. Leslie, who is an RN, BSN, MS, also teaches Early Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Prepared Childbirth for Richmond OB-Gyn Associates.
Dr. Wiles enjoys skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and is the former President of the Board of the Richmond Animal League.
